ENGINEER – FENESTRATION OR GLAZING BACKGROUND
Do you have Engineering experience with Fenestration, Glazing Systems or similar Building Products?
Excellent opportunity awaits the right candidate for Application Engineering – well regarded company and excellent position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares preliminary engineering review reports
- Determines the design pressures for product application from the contract documents, project location, model and local building codes, and national standards
- Advises customers on product selection and its appropriate installation
- Provides guidance to all customers on product modification to satisfy project conditions and requirements
- Leads the production of CAD drawings of special applications and detailing, custom die production, installation instruction, and test mockup review
- Assists with the development of product design and functionality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in engineering, architectural or industrial design plus 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Vigilant about safety
- Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence
